Esophageal Spelunking
Very busy for a quite a while. I’ve barely had time to do anything on this here blog. I’ve had ideas for reviews, stories, and all sorts of shit, but I can never seem to find time to do it.
The podcast is doing quite well. We’ve undergone a name change, and The Awful Awful Show is now Fry Street Studio. We’ve been averaging around 50 listeners a week, which is nothing big, but much better than we expected in the short amount of time we’ve been doing it on a weekly basis. Hopefully someday soon we can get some sticker for some publicity.
I’ve kind been feeling off this weekend, since I had to undergo an upper GI endoscopy Friday morning to investigate some acid reflux issues I’ve been having. Nothing serious was found, except for some mild stomach lining irritation. I’ll probably end up getting some medicine for it. It’s good to finally know what’s been going on. I feel better already just because of that. The procedure was nothing to worry about either. I was stressing out pretty bad beforehand, but they knocked me out and the next thing I remember was waking up in recovery with a bit of a sore throat. If anyone has acid reflux issues, I highly recommend seeing a GI doc and getting this done. No muss, no fuss, and I was in and out within about two hours. The actual procedure took 15 minutes. Piece of cake.
